Handheld Testing for an Enterprise Software Company

Details:

Emma Ellison, Ken Solberg, and Amanda Traugott will present on challenges and best practices of testing handheld applications that are part of a larger enterprise software suite. Epic has created handheld applications for physicians, nurses, and phlebotomists. Haiku is Epic’s handheld application designed for use with the iPhone/iPod touch and for physician workflows. MobileMeds and MobileLab are Epic’s handheld applications that run on the Windows Mobile Platform and are designed for nursing and phlebotomist workflows. Each platform presents its own unique testing challenges.

Emma and Ken are members of Epic’s Haiku quality assurance team and Amanda is a member Epic’s Inpatient Quality assurance team.
